Unedited Update

Tommorow I`m going to Puerto Natales, Chile on a late night bus. After a night at a hostel, I will head into Chile`s most famed national park Torres Del Paine to do an eight day hiking circuit. Things are going splendidly. I went to see one of the world`s most famous glaciers today, Perito Moreno in Calafate, Argentina. Unfortunately, I got a pretty bad burn on my hand and my iPod no longer functions after it got wet in the washer. But thats of little importance. Life is so so good at the moment. I hope to have a more eloquent update in a few days. Until then, keep smiling!

  3. Aunt Joanne checking in....

The Inauguration was unbelievable....I do not know if you were able to get to a TV, but the shot on the Mall with all the flages waving in unison for OBAMA...was magical....It truly was a historical moment ...now the work will begin...for all of us...

Peter & Leslie are in Idaho right now....another full day of travel and they will be at their house...Mike S. got a good report yesterday, all of tumor is gone...there are some cancer cells still their but the Doctor feels optimistic about how he is responding to the treatments....

Robbie, Meg & Louise came to my house yesterday to watch the Inauguration....We camped out in the cellar...my brother Robbie coined it "the safe house"..it was fun to experience that moment with friends/family.

I wish you safety in the travels to Puerto Nateles, Chili...

Peter & Leslie have been following your blog and made the comment that the more you travel into the natural country the happier you sound! questions for you to ponder....

I'll keep you in my thoughts & parayers...
"Happy Trails to you...Until we meet again"
